Smart fit modes avoid distortion: cover (focal-point crop), contain (padded), blur-fill letterbox, stretch. Deterministic and instant — no AI, no account required. Returns the facilitator's verdict (healthy / broken / payment-ignored), decoded challenge, lint checks for silent payment-killers like over-long resource descriptions, and a 402index discovery report.
